Drop Dead Gourdgeous is a small toy for designing a pumpkin. We collect as little as we can. Here is all of it.

What we collect

• A count of finished pumpkins. When a pumpkin reaches Keep, your browser sends us a random code made for that pumpkin, so we can count it once and only once. We store that code and the date. It is not linked to you, your device or anything else.
• Finished pumpkin designs, kept anonymously. With the count, we keep the pumpkin's design: its shape, carving, paint, light and setting. We keep them to make an anonymous gallery. A design may be shown in the public gallery after we have reviewed it; nothing appears there without review. Your greeting is not sent.
• A picture, only if you add one. When you press "Add to gallery" on a photo, we also receive a picture of your pumpkin (without your greeting).

Keep yours out. At Keep, "Keep mine out" stops your pumpkin's design from being kept, and deletes it if we already have it. Your pumpkin is still counted. You can let it back in the same way.

What we do not collect

• No accounts, names, email addresses or phone numbers.
• We do not store your IP address or what browser or device you use.
• No cookies, no tracking, no analytics and no ads.

What stays on your device

Your pumpkin is saved in your own browser's storage so you can come back to it. Only its finished design, as described above, is sent to us. A long share link carries the design inside the link itself, after the "#", which browsers do not send to the website. A short share link stores that pumpkin's design with us, so the link can open it.

Who handles the data

The site and the gallery run on Cloudflare, which hosts the pages and stores the count and the gallery pumpkins for us. Like any web host, Cloudflare sees your IP address while it delivers a page and uses it briefly to keep the service safe (for example, to slow down someone sending too many requests). We do not keep it. You can read Cloudflare's privacy policy.

The gallery is moderated

We review every pumpkin before it is shown, because people can carve anything. We may decline any pumpkin, and we may remove any pumpkin from the gallery at any time, without notice. Pumpkins we decline are kept hidden and may be deleted.

Removing your pumpkin

To have a pumpkin's design removed, email help@giantaperture.com with its number (Keep shows it, for example "Pumpkin 3f9a2c1b"), its share link, or its gallery link. We will delete its design and any picture. Designs carry no names, so we can only find yours if you tell us which one it is.

How long we keep it

The count is kept for as long as the site runs. Designs and pictures are kept until they are removed.
